City NEWS is the informational and entertaiment portal where you can read about all the news and events in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, post your message in a forum and take part in a quiz.
Homepage
The main task in the design of this web site was to make it attractive though loading very fast because of the slow dial-up connection of most of the users. As a result, the homepage with all the images on it is only 30Kb.
As the project was launched in 2001, the other task was to make it look equally in Internet Explorer and in a very old Netscape Communicator 4.7.
The project was closed after 2 years of successfull work. You can look at it only in our museum.
